A full time Corporate Advisor for Japanese, Local companies and oil & gas related businesses within this region. He is involved in business re-engineering process aimed at increasing organizational performance.
As a Corporate Advisor, he assists Local and Multinational companies within Malaysia in implementing organizational-wide High Performance Management, Operational Excellence, Leadership Skill Enhancement and Quality Assurance for multitudes of manufacturing sectors and for all levels including Senior Manager and CEOs.
He is also a Certified Auditor for Quality Management System and Fellow of Certified Association of Business Administrator (FCBA) UK. Dr. Siraj Khan holds a Diploma in Production Engineering (UK), Bachelor in Business Administration, and Masters in Business Administration specializing in Operations Management and Doctorate in Industrial Psychology.
He is a strong believer that Everything is POSSIBLE, if the mind is focused and follow through on course until success!

Dato' SH. Yahya Bin SH. Mohamed

Dato' Sh. Yahya bin Sh. Mohamed's last position before retirement was as the Director General (DG) of Labour under Human Resource Ministry. During his 39 years of service, he has serve 10 years with Social Security Organization  (SOCSO) and 29 years with Labour Department. During that period of service, he had serve in Johor, Negeri Sembilan before was transferred to Headquarters Department of Labour Peninsular Malaysia. He has been placed in various Divisions at the Headquarters of the Labour Department as Director until his appointment as Deputy Director General of Labour Peninsular Malaysia in 2007.

During his tenure as the Industrial Relations Officer, Dato' Sh. Yahya bin Sh. Mohamed represented the Ministry of Human Resources and the country at the meeting/international conferences, especially the International Labour Conference in Geneva, the Labour Ministers' Meeting of ASEAN and International conferences and seminars for Labour and present papers at the International level in Japan, Korea, Mongolian,  Philippines, Thailand and other countries. He is also one of the representative from the Ministry of Human Resources in Independent Consulting Agreement and Free Trade Agreement between Malaysia and the United States.

He was also heavily involved in the amendment to Labour Laws, Children And Young Person Acts, Private Employment Agency Acts and the latest National Minimum Wage. He is also  one of  the member of Malaysia National Labour Advisory Council. One of his achievements is place more than few hundred thousand local unemployment to get jobs in private sectors in the country every year and contributed to stability and harmony of industrial relations through the concept of tripartite cooperation.

M. Pramasivah
Executive Director- Finance, Admin and Consultancy Division

M.Pramasivah is the Head of Department (Consultancy) in Business and Operation Performance Business Unit (SBU). His specialization is Improving Business Performance, Productivity Improvement, Leadership Development, Quality Assurance systems and many other aspects of Operational Excellence. He was working with Matsushita Electric Company for 32 years. Among many other positions he has held, he was also a General Manager and Head of  Department  Various Home Appliances Manufacturing processes of the Panasonic brand.
His approach towards business excellence improvements is through the application of tested Japanese business tools. He uses the GEMBA approach to feel the actual situation and take corrective measures and actions to enhance business performance, productivity and quality improvement.

 

Haji Zubir bin Haji Abdul Haddad
Associate Director- Consultancy

Haji Zubir bin Haji Abdul Haddad is a Senior Consultant in Human Resource Management Business Unit (SBU) and his specialization in in Industrial Relation, Human Capital Development, Human Behavioral, Manpower Planning and other aspects of Human Resource Management. With the experience of working for more than 30 years in the field of HRM serving various companies, institutions and agencies in private and public sectors he has undoubtedly widen his knowledge and skill in Human Resource Management.
As a Human Resource Practitioner, he has been involved in designing Human Resource Policies, Grievances and Disciplinary Procedures, Reward Schemes and Motivational Programs. He also has the arts in handling people and had successfully negotiated at least four Collective Bargaining to establish Collective Agreement in the past. He believes that Management and workers must work as a team to ensure significant success in an organization, thus good communication and transparency has to be established and enhanced.

Reza is the Head of Department (Training) in Business and Operation Performance Business Unit (SBU). His specialization is Leadership, Developing Management Strategy, Change & Transition Management, Motivational and Inspirational talk, Communication & Public Speaking Skills, Local and International sales and marketing strategic planning, Business Intelligence and many other aspects of Operational Excellence. Earlier than joining Maslow, Abraham had worked as adviser and trainer to some of the best organizations all over the world including Mckinsey & company.
Reza helps organizations large and small realize dramatically improved results through dogged focus and relentless execution of strategy. He helps people and organizations everywhere solve the “results equation.”

Besides his corporate experience, Reza published few books and articles in the area of Industrial Engineering and Strategic Management, including the Dictionary of Industrial Engineering. He is guest author to few business magazines and member of Institute of Management Consultants (USA). He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (1st Class) specializing in Technology Development and an MBA in Operation Management, and PhD candidate in Strategic Management.

This case study is based on one of our client located in Nilai, who is one of the top FMCG in the world.

There are 107 unionized employees in this company.

Majority of them are in the position of Line Process employees of grade 1,2 and 3. There are also are Clerks, Forklift Drivers, Production Technicians, Service Hand and Store Hand.

It is the desire of Client’s Management to study and review these employees job functions, since it has been observed that a number of them are practicing overlapping jobs, especially the Line Process Man.

There are also complaints about the unclear jobs functions whereby employees are doing their jobs not in accordance to their JD.
